Another thing to note; you can't solder to titanium or zirconium. The oxide layer keeps anything from sticking. This is why solder picks are made from titanium. It can be laser welded under argon though. My latest toy is one of those. It does some cool stuff.

Well, I just talked to a dentist... She said they use composites to replace any fillings that take up 50% of the tooth, a crown will be required. They use zirconium-oxide Cerec or Cerec Vita (ceramic) crowns - depending on their evaluation of best compatibility with the patient. Each crown costs $1250. BTW, from the research I've read, pretty much NO filling is 100% safe. ...

But we know E8 and LC1 is not only a overheating Thing. I talk only about the LC1 and E8 not about the LM1. (you do?) The LC1 makes E8 not only because overheating. The LC1 has a improved Design in this. Zirconium-OXIDE have a O i think this is the Problem on the too rich side. A meant with "cannibal reaction" the E8 is also for Sensor-Safety and kill the Heater. Now we have a clue....
