Question I received an emergency root canal approximately 4 weeks ago, I am going to get a crown placed today. The endodontist put in a temporary filling using zinc oxide without eugonol. How much zinc oxide is in the temporary filling? The last couple of days I have noticed a metallic taste in my mouth which I fear is the zinc oxide leaking or wearing. Does this pose any threat to my baby...

other than for medical purposes has anyone seen powdered zinc oxide that could be mixed with a second agent to produce a specific quantity of zinc oxide liquid (which could then be sprayed or painted on)? - Mike

I bought some cuddle fleece and made a bunch of liners because my little guy has a red bum most of the time from so much EBF poo-ing. It works great for keeping desitin (and EBF poo stains) off of his dipes but I've noticed a bit of residual cream on the liners sometimes. What is the best way to get zinc oxide out... dawn maybe?

I'm not entirely sure if this has been posted before or not, but I've searched through older topics and haven't found anything, so I thought I'd just ask. Has anyone here tried using Zinc Oxide as a topical to reduce redness and hyperpigmentation? I read about people opening up pills or whatever and using that, and I'll assume whatever I have (it's just a cream from CVS) is essentially the...

My new BG's came with a "no rash cream" notice on the packaging. Are there ANY creams that are ok to use? My LO has a pretty bad rash. (I stuck her back in sposies and layered on the Burt's Bees', but I'm guessing the zinc oxide wouldn't wash out of cloth very well.)

Hi I am sure that I am repeating a lot of information, but I guess it helps us all to write things down! I had been treating myself for thrush for 5 years! Looking back since I have been diagnosed at the symptoms I have had, I wonder if ignorance is bliss at times. having thrush seems so simple! I am 55 and have recently been diagnosed with LS and my doctor prescribed the mildest ...

I read an article that says "Experts say the best protection against UVA is a sunscreen that includes zinc oxide, titanium dioxide or avobenzone." so I'm asking what percentage of these ingrediants does the sunscreen need? I'm also assuming that more of it is better...but how much is good enough?

I was at a local pet store here in town that specializes more in big animal foods, such as that for horses. I thought I had grabbed a bag of alfalfa cubes, when in reality, I had picked up a bag of "Equest 17% Horse Crunch" Is this safe for chins? The Guaranteed analysis is: Crude Protein (min) 17% Crude fat (min) 3% Crude fibre (max) 18% Calcium (act) 1.2% Phosphorus .8% Salt (act...
