Ladies, I need your help. I've been recovering from a broken foot since August. My Dr wanted to me use a Bone Stimulator to help the bone to recover faster. Do any of you have experience with these? He says their safe to use but it just worries me!

Hello! I have a spine stimulator and have had it for just over about a year and a half. I have had my ups and downs with it but it has mostly been a great relief. I had a double laminectomy and (heaven knows what else he did) and the surgeon crushed the nerve going down to my left leg leaving me with permanent foot drop. It took 10 mons. before he prescribed a brace which kept me ...

Hi Everyone, Lisa in California back with another question. I have a bone stimulator I have to wear four hours a day and I noticed when I use my phone there is a clicking sound. I read the manual, but they didn't mention anything about electronics. Since it's a high powered magnet I'm wearing around my neck I was curious if this can cause interference with phones, computers, etc. Anyone ...

Hello everyone. I'm currently working on the design of an electrical stimulator for therapy with 4 channels (each channel with two electrodes). First I generated a biphasic-asymmetric pulse train, now I'm working in making it variable in current in a range from 1mA to 80mA. I need the same signal in four alternating channels (i.e, X seconds in channel 1 and 4, then X seconds in ...

I had a trial Stimulator installed and it had failed to work and give me releif. On November 11 I will have the wires removed that are embeded in my head. I had such big hopes for this and at the very least, a reduction in my med intake.

I'm curious because my doctor has suggested this to me. I've been working with an interventional pain doctor and have been having sympathetic nerve blocks. These aren't helping, so we're thinking about the stimulator. I'm nervous because it's essentially a pacemaker and I'm 20. From what I understand, it has leads that go into my spine. Those leads are connected to a pacemaker-type ...

hi there: My health insurance covered most of it. I don' know how they code it, but they covered most of the cost. I did have some ancillary expenses that i can't exactly remember what they were I had to have both of the lead wires on both sides removed because my trial was not successful, so it was like having two surgeries on both side. It was not un.... Bt if it had worked it would ...

Hi Tink, I had a spinal cord stimulator put in 5 weeks ago today. It seems to be working OK this time. The first one I had put in on Sept. 16, 2008, I don't think was done properly and I also may have reached my arms above my head to dislodge the leads. The leads shifted and "fell off" to the side causing terrible pain. I ended up in ER and had emergency surgery to put the whole thing ...
