Is there any benefit for a NA engine running Open Down pipe? I really like the idea of installing an exhaust cut out valve on my SL. Have done a lot of searching and reading different theories but most of the information out there is for turbo set ups or old carburetor systems. So far it from what I have read: - Turbo systems dont need back pressure and benefit from an open down pipe. - ...

Now that I have added some mods and gotten the suspension how I wanted, I noticed that a bit more horsepower would be nice, any help would be appreciated. Not looking to trade up, may track, not sure yet. I like my C4S with the creature comforts as opposed to trading up. As previously stated this stuff is addictive.

I'm looking for a running S5 NA engine, can just be the shortblock. I was going to rebuild the engine I have, but the internals are pretty worn and I'd like to get this car going as soon as I can. I'll do a proper rebuild later. Just want a decent engine to get it going. email me at pandafb@comcast.net or pm me Thanks guys Sean

How hard is it to drop a NA engine into a TTZ as I have a spare engine lying around which I wouldent mind using while rebuilding my TT engine. So basicly what would be needed ? All I can think of is that the aircon compressor would be different connector plugs which is no big deal just run with out aircon. But what else like I can list a few like intake pipes/ECU/oil cooler power steering pump...

i have an engine for sale, this was build for Vosko that is now parting out the car. this is s5 NA 6 port with stage 1 street port (last car i dynoed with this same port did 195whp, and the car ran out of fuel on the stock fuel system, this port is good for 205-210 whp with proper fuel setup, search under my name under the 2nd gen dyno section) for those unfamiliar, this rebuild includes all ...

I'm in need of a new engine. 12a or a 13b from a s4 or s5. I need something that runs and is NA, preferrably already adapted to fit a 1st gen engine bay. Let me know if anyone has a motor within a reasonable distance: prices, miles, etc. (Looking in the Southern Indiana, Western TN, KY area) thx
