I already applied to colleges with my major declared as a BM in composition. however, after taking AP economics this year, I really like it! while music is (obviously) my passion, economics has become a close second. should i change my major? why or why not? |

Hey all, for those who don\'t know i\'m a bit of a \'muso\'. I play drums/percussion, and the mate that I live with plays guitar. It\'s fun having jam sessions over a few TED\'s. ...but I\'d like to find a piece of software that can compose a music score for an accompanying bass track, rhythm guitar, maybe some keyboards, etc... Hi! I just wanted to get some feedback on a song I recorded about 3 years ago now for my A level Music composition. The first half consists of piano with some guitar harmonics in the background, and the 2nd half has multiple harmonising guitars, with the ending consisting of 2 guitars "intertwining"...erm...you'll see what I mean when you hear it. My 9 year old is currently learning the viola, guitar and the piano. I have bought him a Yamaha PSR-E313 MIDI keyboard for him to practice on. I'm now after some child friendly music compositon software where he can either type the notes directly onto the staves on the screen or record it via the yamaha via the midi, As I know nothing about music other than how to turn my iPod on I'm after ... |
