For an under-21 who can't buy or conceal a pistol, I'd been thinking about a Kel-Tec SUB-2000. They can't be fired when folded, and they fold to about 16 inches. I know, it's not as quick as a pistol, but it's better than nothing. Is this legal to carry in FL? On my person? How about concealed? And yes, I can shove something like that down my pants. The title says (asks?) it all folks. Does anybody know if the State of NJ allows this firearm within its highly regulated borders? They appear to be tightly restricted on almost everything. Man I'm glad I don't live there.

I know this is an oddball request, but I am looking for a Kel Tec Sub2000 model carbine, in 9mm that specifically uses Glock pistol magazines, either G17 or G19 (preferred). If you have one and would like to sell/trade, or have seen one recently please let me know. Travis (Anchorage) 227-8133

I have a used Kel-Tec Sub 2000(G19) I bought here about 2-3 months ago. It was originally bought from Kel-Tec with the grip already cut down to accept G19 mags. Only reason I'm selling is because I have another. For trade purposes, I would value this at $350. I'm willing to throw in cash+/- and new G18 33rd mags for the right trade. I would be interested in getting a 9mm Kel-tec sub 2000 that takes 9mm Glock mags. I'm only really interested because it folds up and is compact. The gun seems pretty cheap. Would this be a good reliable piece or are they junkers??

I dont know about the florida laws Hoplohile, but I have a different question. Have you ever actually held/used a Sub-2000 ? It might be bigger and clunkier than you think. Think thick laptop computer and you'd be just about there. Fits nicely in backpacks.
