http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/...s_Iverson.h tml Quote: Nuggets coach knocks Iverson THE DENVER POST Unquestionably, the Allen Iverson experiment produced some scintillating moments for the Denver Nuggets and their fans. But the more Nuggets coach George Karl watches Chauncey Billups run his offense - and watches Iverson lead the Detroit ...

Iverson is one of the most overrated player evern in nba history. the guy cant shoot, horrendous shooting%, carries everytime he dribbles , and doesnt have the tangibles to be a great player. now karl have said " iverson's poor decision and shoot-first mentality was frustrating..." imagine a guy that cant shoot, bad shooting %, takes so many shots just to avg 20 pts with a shoot first ...

Coach Karl said Iverson's "shoot first" mind was very fustrating. He said that he was tired of the wasted possesions. I hope everything work out fine in Detroit for Iverson because it could get nasty up in Motown if people on the team feel the same way like Karl did.

Those assuming that Iverson would carve up the Suns tonight may not have realized his history of statistical futility in Phoenix, starting with his first road game against this franchise on February 26, 1997 . In that game, the rookie Iverson's combined total of turnovers and personal fouls was three times as large as his number of made field goals. He ended up with 8 points on 3-15 field ...

I know it's still early in his career, but before the Iverson trade, he was on his way to be the scoring champion and Now I think Melo has a different mind-set in his game. IMO, Iverson probably did ruin his career.

The Sixers not making the playoffs his last years there, them getting better and making the playoffs without him... Fluke Denver playing much better with Billups than Iverson... Fluke Detroit being 3-0 without Iverson and only 4-3 with hiim... Coincodence. Right guys?

Just playing. Just wanted to show the Iverson fans how dumb they sound when they say trade Rip. But on the real, these are they types of games I worry about having Iverson. When he's shooting bad, he's not going to make anybody else better. he's going to keep shooting. And his defense is attrocious. He can't guard anybody. This causes so much help defense which creates open shots for ...

They mentioned Iverson having soreness in one of his knees in the 2nd half against the overhyped pansies. Then Kobe tackled him and he was limping in that pointless attempt by the Fakers at the end. Anyone hear if the initial soreness had been there or was that something new? Earlier in Denver he missed some pre-season games due to soreness. I doubt it will keep him out of any games but I ...

I like the trade. Iverson is a great talent. What I don't like is him driving too far in the paint every possession and having to kick it out on the wing. That's very predictable because it's obviously the only outlet he has. That's really annoying. Other than that, go Pistons!! __________________________________________________ ________________
