5-0 Wake Forest at 3-2 Notre Dame The Irish have lost games to Xavier and Marist while feasting on the likes of Appy State and Yale for their wins. This will be their first real test of the year too we take an early lead but the Irish crowd gets into and they pick up the pace big time. Fast breaks galore and we're seeing our offense looks when run by superior athletes. Fighting Irish ...

Quote: Now, I want you to remember that no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country. Men, all this stuff youve heard about America not wanting to fight, wanting to stay out of the war, is a lot of horse dung. Americans traditionally love to fight. All real Americans love the sting of ...

Had NO problem with Weis' playcalling. Matter of fact its about time the ND staff found a niche/weakness against a team and continually exploited it until they proved they could stop it, which they never did which was the run game. There IS such a thing as overthinking yourself and CW has been guilty of that many times in past when just sticking with the simple would have worked. GLAD he stuck...

We rode another slew of Bikes at the CW show. There are a couple that require comment. Note: This is not our first ride on these bikes. We have tried each of them several times over the past two years and have a good feel for them. 1. VTX 1800 & 1300. On the first go my wife rode the 1300 and I was on the 1800. She thought the 1300 was dreadful. Lots of vibration, average handling, ...

Quote from: fufan27 on Yesterday at 09:27:34 AM Alright, as an insider and close to the coaches and their families. Wilson was not let go by BJ. It was a long and tough decision, but Wilson decided he wanted to get out of coaching and entered the business world. He hated it, they say coaching is in your blood. He then took the head job at Gainesville High School and and ...

MrsBunnie wrote: Such a great top 3 this year! I have purposely stayed away from the forums until now as they have been a little testy with the Luke vs Wes vs Mark debates. I did not want to defend my choice as the others were also fantastic. Now I am so torn. I have been loving Wes since the start for his total immersion in music. I also have loved luke for his growth and guts ...

Erk said, "If they don't score we can't lose!" There is also another advantage to dominant defense and that is the intimidation factor which leads to increased turnovers and better field position. A lot of FLORIDA and ALABAMA scores this year have come from defensive touchdowns or were aided by "short" fields. Big hits and multiple hits cause fumbles and tight coverage and defenders in ...

Today I watched the AccuStats tape of the 1P match between Deuel and Daulton at the 2000 1P World Championship - you know, the one where Corey uses a smash break, puts Shannon off his game and wins 4-3. I had heard about it but never seen it, and wondered if I'd think that Corey was doing something creative or just trying to shark Shannon. As I watched (and laughed) I began to realize ...

The snuffling and smacking are what woke me up. The lip smacking and crunching just plain irritated me. Its like when your dog thinks it has a flea, its two oclock in the morning and he wont stop with the chompchompchomp of the eternal flea chase, just the relentless snicksnicksnicking of his incisors meeting, never ending; no matter how long the pauses. Annoying as hell, actually. ...

They are talented and athletic. They have the team that can get to Super Sunday in Tampa;yet they are very flawed. They also are the team I root for and will always stand by. The Pittsburgh Steelers are 6-3 and in reality I don't know if they are that good. They dropped their second home game in the past three weeks in losing 24-20 to the Colts.Yeah it is Peyton Manning, who is an all-time great ...
