I started with X58 chipset, GIGABYTE GA-EX58-EXTREM VS Asus X58 Rampage II Extreme I am Gigabyte fan but normally i will look into Asus mobo also for mobo selection.....huh.....but for the above mobo....I think gigabyte is better !

My Brain IS Mush... I have a gigabyte x48t-dq6 v1.3, BIOS F6a with a E8500 and OCZ 4GB PC3-14400 DDR3-1800 DDR3 (2 sticks) and nvidia 8800GTX. This is a fresh install of XP Pro and all drives are the latest. I only want to overclock my CPU to 3.6Ghz, not any higher than that. I have spent the majority of the weekend (seriously 10-12 hours! ) reading over this site and the over clockers guide...
