Hey guys, can anyone tell me if there is an indoor pistol range that rents handguns in northeastern PA say in the area of Scranton? And will they allow out of staters to rent and shoot there?

Not sure about up there, but if you're down in the Stroudsburg area, check out the Pocono Pistol Club. It's a new state of the art range that does have rentals (though not a large selection) and will allow those from out of state to shoot there. Another option in the area is Sunset Hill, though that is outdoors (but covered shooting area).

I would also post in the Pennsylvania Glockers club.

^ Yes, Sunset Hills has rentals both with handguns and rifles. Again not the largest selection, but if you're just hoping to go and fire off some rounds, that would work for you. Another place to check out would be: http://www.pafoa.org/forum/ (they have a Range Forum).

You might want to check out a place called "The Firing Line". They are in the Lehigh valley or tip of it. Sorry I don't remember where it is, I was there a few times. I didn't drive. Its about 5 miles north of the Army and Navy in whitehall. If you go there they can give you directions to it. Guthsville Rod and Gun Club is also good, you might want to check those guys out.
