The only problem I see with these sets is that Danny plays really long sets doesn't he, spanning a whole range of not just house, but music in general? I kind of have an issue with lives mixes that just take a section of the night, as these above ones surely do. How does one decide what 60 minutes of a 6 + hour set to release? Who decides what 60 minutes to use. It's the same with the recordings...

Tenaglia played NYE in Redfern technology park a few years back. Played for 6 hours or something.

See, this is what house music sounded like before there was electro-house. I'm not sure whether much tribal gets played in Melbourne, but it certainly is hard to find in Sydney these days. I have no doubt that if he tours he'll pack big venues (perhaps with people a little older than your average, but a big mob nonetheless.

a LOT of the live sets credited with his name on the net are fakes anyway. he is notoriously strict with not allowing live recordings in saying that theres still a couple floating around, and totally agree with BBC in that it can never truely reflect his 6, 12 or even 24 hour sets where he covers everything from disco, house, prog, tribal and techno right down to "classics" like the ...
