Nice work there shaffaaf27 . But have to agree with wolvers69 in regards to HTPC especially the last two spec. A decent one, i.e. quiet, handles HD, etc can't be more than £600. Alternative is maybe offer a normal spec & gaming one* - i.e. can handle what's out at a decent-ish FPS. But the latter should still emphasise on silence, therefore maybe include the most powerful but silent GFX ...

Looks pretty decent for most of them but really you'd need to update them weekly to take advantage of TWO offers and hope that people actually read this thread rather than starting their own in many cases. Good luck though.

None of the specs given seem to come with an operating system ... assuming Vista HP OEM that'll put them over the budget points given.

Good stuff. However, ALL the HTPCs should have discrete soundcards. Onboard gives horrible background hiss, which would be unnacceptable on a Hi-fi system. Stick a Xonar DX in there.
