the performance background of this design is based on what a sail boat uses?

i know the owner of the company and thats the fin i ride on my longboard, for any interested, they will be at sacred craft with a booth. ive been riding em for about 2-3 years on my logs and I love em, very solid on the nose, much better for me than the star fin or tunnel fin.

do you relegate it to noseriders only? how does it perform otherwise?

not at all, turns my 10 ft tanker single fin log around pretty damn fast. used it on a single fin short board before and made the board way better, more performance.

I had one sent to me in Australia. Turned up with one of its "bullet proof" lexan winglets bent. WTF. So I tentavely bent it back into place. It's now straight but you have to be careful not to knock it around as the lexan is pliable and the winglet and fin trailing edge at the top are easily bent from accidental bumps. Can't help wishing it was made of fibreglass so this problem would ...

over a year now. its a good fin alot more hold than you would imagine for something that skinny but its thick. feels more controllable than my horan winged keel I'm using it on my mccoy nugget and tim stamps shaped revolution replica I got from Noel. You need a board with low tail rocker for these winglet fins or you'll get drag. But it lives up to its reputation. just make sure you ...
