Hi, does anyone know how does NOS(Nitrous Oxide System) actually work ? It may sound vague, but how does Nitrous Oxide(which is in gaseous state, or might be liquid, i ain't sure) can cause the piston move at such a fast speed to give the vehicle a SHOOT ?

It allows you to burn more gasoline. Fuel requires a certain amount of oxygen to burn and the oxygen in the nitrous oxide allows you to put more gasoline into the cylinders. ray j is correct: the nitrous acts as an oxidizer to allow you to burn more fuel rapidly, and increases intake pressure...which gives you more power, and higher RPMs... rok has no freaking clue what he's talking about
