FS: University 6201 12" coaxial drivers Post #1 3x University 6201 12" alnico coaxial drivers $250 for all 3. Use the third for backup or center channel. These were being highly recommended by "drlowmu" on AA Hi-eff board. They have a Lpad pot that comes with them but as far as other crossover parts, that is up to you. IP: Logged

FS: Audiostatic ESL aluminum cross bars Post #1 Still cleaning out the closet... I have (134) leftover aluminum cross bars used to build Audiostatic style ESLs. Bars are approximately 9 3/8 long made from: Extruded 6061 T6 Aluminum Square Bar (1/4 x 1/4) I had them black anodized locally. http://www.onlinemetals.com/merchan...d=999&top...

Post #1 Hello,I was playing with some mains cables lately and I was surprised to see that my turntable which uses an outboard psu sounded much different depending on the mains cable I was trying on it.I could understand more easily why mains cables effect the performance of electronics but can anyone ...

Half-bridge heat problems Post #1 Hi, I finally succesfully built an off-line 250W Half bridge SMPS using as driver an IR2110, didn't blow up or anything taking the nessesary cautions... Thing is, I correctly snubbed the FETs' switching noise with 2 RC snubbers (sorry, the only snubber I know for this topology), and the err amp compensation is ok (...

Lop-sided supplies for an opamp Post #1 I am using a +10V regulator (78L10) and a -10V regulator (79L10) as the analog supplies for an opamp. The -10V supply seems to "sag", as its output is only -9.1V (but it is a stable -9.1V). If I have designed the opamp circuit to be powered from bipolar supplies, but the supplies are uneven, will this induce ...

Post #7 Some things that I'm sure contribute to the Orions: excellent quality, expensive drivers, and, they are designed by a veteran expert in the audio field. Ok, for those of you that have found other speakers that you like better than Orions, could you please mention WHICH speakers those are? And describe the things that you like about them/...

Introductions always feel like being at an AA meeting and I recently read someone else using that line. So anyways, I live in Lule, in the ...

Post #57 i think some of us were curious about the cascode mirror from charles hansen's comments in a different thread (blowtorch maybe?) - he prefers cascode mirrors for his "no global feedback" gain stages. mlloyd1 IP: Logged
