All these talk about retrofit and glare...I am thinking of the projectors headlight housing on ebay? I know I have heard that they really sucked, but if it doesn't break the bulbs then why not? They are around 140-160 bux USD, how much is it to get retrofit? I really would love to have hid setup, but don't want to get
pull over or high beamed at for being an a$$. Thanks!

hey, one of my bulbs just blew yesterday and i can t seen to find the same brand bulb to replace it. they only sell the
HID kits, but not bulbs alone. i was just wondering if you need to get the same brand bulb or you can get the right size bulb from any company and make it work with your kit? any advice will be appreciated

Well....I am 99% finished with these now. Just need to silicone the edge. I would like the owner of these lights to see what I did for him so here's the journal of this
retrofit project. They were in pretty rough shape when I got them with dull lense but after giving them the blackout treatment & repeated polishing, they started looking real good.... http://i17.photobucket.com/albums...

t_mo_t wrote: Well.... a good cutoff doesnt mean it wont glare.... cz in mazda6's stock halogen projector, it still have this nice cutoff, but sometimes it will glare if you try to see it in front of the garage door... there're those lightwaves flying like crazy on top of the cutoff line.... Are you talking about a HID bulb in the halogen
mazda 6 projector? The glare might be coming ...

Normal electrical tape will loosen over time. You can buy some rubber sealant tape from CT called
X-Treme tape. It's rubber based and will seal to itself creating a water tight seal when it bonds to itself. http://www.vyparproducts.com/images/x.jpg I've used this stuff and it's awesome but it's about $8 per roll.

at my old job, i was using G4 to do some graphics work (PS,
quark, corel). I would only use it if I was doing grahpics, because its much faster than a PC IMO

Where do you live? My local Canadian Tire sells 5 prong
relays (really 4 prong with an extra prong for power).
