Indiana Jones is a complete rip-off of Harry Steele, the adventurer in "Secret Of The Incas", and that old movie is far superior in every way to any Indy film.

I recently purchased this movie and found the sound to be mastered horribly. The background noise and music come through so loud they drown out the dialogue to the point where the volume has to be CRANKED in order to hear what's being said. Is this because the sound is optimized for surround and I'm only playing it through my stereo TV? Anyone else notice this?

When Indiana performs one of his most memorable scenes with the bald German guy, there's something I always wondered. What exactly does the German call Indiana to get his attention? I could understand him say "Hey..!" and then he called him something that sounded like "Hey you....Tuna" lol. Does anybody know what I'm talking about?

As a plot device, how good of a driving force is the Ark of the Covenant really? On one hand, it's blasphemous to even consider the notion that Adolph Hitler could even potentially use the Ark as a tool in conquering the world. On the other hand, the notion that God would protect the Ark and defeat any force trying to use it for evil completely undermines any threat caused by Hitler's going after...

Any news on when the original trilogy will be released on Blu-ray? I really want to buy Kingdom of the Crystal Skull on BD (I know, I know, bash me all you want), but I'd rather wait for the inevitable series boxset. Look, I didn't learn joined-up writing for nothing, you know!

My sister photoshopped this picture of my father and me out of Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. http://i373.photobucket.com/albums/oo172/francisja mesjohn/000h00dyB02.jpg My father was delighted to be cast as Sean Connery! Lol

Raiders is such a classic from start to finish...smart, funny, exciting. What a long way to fall to the Crystal Skull...quite remarkable. Peter Joshua

In the beginning, as Indy enters the cave, when he reaches the cobwebs, you can see the spiders on his back. In the next shot, from behind him, there are clearly no spiders on his back. In the next shot, there they are! Pretty sloppy.

Where did the Germans find one for that matter in 1938?

Hey Indy fans.. You have probably heard already. But in case not! ALL FOUR INDIANA JONES MOVIE SOUNDTRACKS ARE BEING RE-RELEASED (in expanded form, with the exception of Crysal Skull) in November 2008! I've set this page up here where you can compare the pre/order pricing of the major online retailers in the UK and USA (for other countries please contact me - I'm happy to add them!)...

Karen Allen is not an attractive woman in this film. Infact she is a rather ugly woman and I cannot believe that she was chosen as Indiana Jones love interest. It is astounding that a woman who looks like Karen Allen should be a love interest to a man of that calibre. Within this film marion ravenwood is totally unattractive in every single way. She has an ugly face, an extremely ugly ...

I saw this movie again a short time ago, and it's still the entertaining masterpiece it was 8 years ago, but there were a couple things I didn't quite understand. 1) When Sallah is waiting for Indy to explore the map room, two Germans soldiers grab him and throws him down the hill, seemingly to arrest him. However, in the next shot he was perfectly fine and ready to assist Indy by throwing down...
