King Kong is the perfect example of what humans does to animals all over the world. We find something special, and we exploit it for profits. I'm glad we have these movies that at least tries to set our heads straight. As the dominant (and most logical) race on earth, why do we continue to exploit animals and not handle them with care? For the same reason all king kong movies do. Its a story about a monkey falling in love with a woman. At the very heart of it, that is what this movie is about. Peter Jackson can do great things, no question. And god knows he tried his best with this movie. Problem. LOTR has the greatest storyline EVER! King kong, worst storyline ever.

Few movies get to me the way this one did; In the other Kong versions I was happy to see Kong die and felt nothing but in Jackson's I really felt for him and didn't want to see him die. His last moments with Ann always manage to put a lump in my throat (I'm not even one of those sensitive movie watchers... very rarely do I get emotional). I much prefer the Kong/Ann relationship in this ...

In this film being a skimpy white dress and high heels. To climb the Empire State by metal ladders and wander around the top of it teetering on high heels. does anybody else feel this way? When i saw this movie in the theaters, i thought it was one of the best theater experiences i ever had. when i watch it at home on DVD, even on a big screen TV, it just doesn't have the same magic. This is the only time this has happened to me

My vote goes to the guy who got eaten by those worm things. Can't cut through them cus then you'd have to cut off your legs or arms. Then the one devours his head. Made me squirm. :P It's too bad she won't live; but then again, who does?
