Hello, I found out that I have twice the normal range of TSH Receptor Antibodies (TSH-rec AB). I think this is sometimes referred to as TSI? From my online readings, this seems to indicate Gaves' disease. However, the doctor I was referred to (an internist) says it is no big deal and that it is the beginning of Hashimoto. He says I just need to monitor my TSH levels (which are currently...

Hi, this is my first post here. I'm 25 years old and have been having what I consider possible thyroid related symptoms lately such as: heart palpitations (went to a cardiologist and he did an ekg and echocardiogram and said everything was fine), always feeling cold especially in my hands and feet, vertical ridges on nails and weak nails, hair has gone thin and started greying a bit in spots, ...

I keep reading that women get their periods 12 to 16 days after they ovulate (so using January 1st as a starting point, if the first day of your period is 1/1 and you have a 28-day cycle you would ovulate between Jan 13 -17 , but if you have something like a 36-day cycle you might ovulate Jan 21 - 25). Is this always the case? Does your body need that long between ovulation and bleeding, ...

I have been treating him. We havent had sex for a couple weeks and now the burning is back. Came back yesterday. I can't win. I have been tested for everything under the sun, all negative. Treated myself with a gynazole at the end of August, was clear for only 10 days. Used a garlic clove two weeks ago, that kept me clear for almost two weeks. Now the awful burn is back. And I went through this ...

I'm 42. Male. A few days ago I developed an urge to urinate more often than usual. I believe previously I would urinate maybe 2-3 times a day. I think that is normal. But for the past few days it's been maybe 7-9 times a day. One day it would be less than 7x. As usual, first thing in the morning it would be the largest volume. Not abnormal. But then an hour to two later I would feel the urge....

Hi- I had a scary episode where the left side of my face felt numb/tingly. It then progressed to my left arm and leg. After a few minutes my face was ok but the feelings lingered in my left leg and arm. The next day, I went to the ER and was admitted for all kinds of tests. They initially thought I had a stroke but after all the tests were done, they said it didn't appear to be a stroke. I ...
