I did almost the same thing on Sunday night Chris. Don't have access to a 17-70 though, so I walked around with the A 50 1.2 and 12-24 instead. Also decided to try the B+W mode - which filters did you use - I ended up using the Infrared filter as it seemed to brng out the clouds more. I think you are overreacting to this. All but 5 or 6 cameras on the list are digital SLRs. I wouldn't even attempt to use this for a real world comparison. You have one of the finest small sensor cameras out there. Lightweight, easy to carry, and always ready for great picture. Stop reading and enjoy the obviously wonderful pictures you are taking. What Pentax can do is calibrate the K10D and the DA Star 16-50 to the same reference. If your other lenses are fine according to this reference, then they will have good focus after re-calibration of camera and/or DA Star. > That ...

set your trackpad preferences to enable "Tap trackpad using 2 fingers for secondary click", that is the equivalent of using a right mouse click and gives you a drop down menu as to whether open a link in a new window/tab -- We have art that we do not die of the truth. --Friedrich Nietzsche

Hi! I'm considering a new monitor and I've layed my eye on a HP LP2475W H-IPS panel which is around my price point. I'm also considering getting a better hardware calibration device. I own a spyder2 now, which has done an ok job on my currect 21" crt monitor. It is bad in the shadow tones where I can see a slight greenish tint. I'm also not too sure about the gamma curve it creates making my ...

I've been using a MAC for years and if you're a serious pro and need to crunch large RAW files, just get yourself a Mac Pro tower with the Quad-Core Intel processor (and with the 30 inch Apple monitor) - with CS4, you'll never look back. BTW, save yourself a bundle, buy all your memory from Crucial.com, not from Apple. If money is that much of an issue, check out the Apple refurbished items at ...
