I wasn't sure if this was the right forum as this touches on a couple different spheres... I have the 2nd edition PC dvd version of GTA: San Andreas. I formatted my drive back when I installed Vista, and hadn't put it back on yet. I decided to do that today..old game, but I had never played it through. At first I couldn't get the disc to autorun. It looks like it has some light scratches, ...

Left 4 Dead is an upcoming multiplayer co-operative zombie survival first-person shooter game by Valve. You can play as one of 4 survivors or one of 4 zombies in the multiplayer, or you can play as one of the 4 survivors in a cooperative mode. It looks like it's going to be an awesome game, and it comes out in November. I hope a good community starts up around it like Team Fortress 2 has. ...

Anyone looking at picking this game up? Haven't heard too much advance news about it other than the extra mountain at Target.

Hi Lounge. My last 999 posts were mostly in GESC, but I finally got around to registering and officially showing up here. Some facts: - I live in Alberta, Canada, the land of beef, cowboy hats, and oil. - I don't even OWN a steak. Or a bacon. - I tip 15%. 5% GST is handy for this. - Hockey is the best sport, all of the other sports are not the best. - I am in Sekrit Santa this year. Thanks ...

Basics: Eve-Online is a space MMORPG where you can fly around in internet spaceships and blow other people up in myriad and hilarious ways. OR you could make the ships that other people use to blow themselves and others up. Basically, you can do a lot of stuff. The crux of Eve-Online is choice, where you get to do pretty much anything you want. There are no "races" in a traditional sense...

Is anyone else stoked about this game? I've watched the "trailers" and seen some of the developer's diaries. What can I say, I'm a sucker for Sci-Fi/Horror. I also love the fact that EA are trying to build a backstory before the game comes out. They have these "comics" that you can watch to get some of the history, and they are putting out a Animated Movie too. Comic #0 Comic #1 ...

Mount & Blade is being offered through Steam at $29.99USD. They have a demo available that appears to let you play quite extensively. I tried it out, thining I probably would not like it. The graphics looked pretty weak until I realized the game is a few years old. Knowing this, the game actually looks pretty decent. What struck me was that this appears to be more an RTS with strong RPG ...

It's clear that without government support GM will go belly up early next year, and Ford would be lucky to live the see 2010. And Chrysler, who knows? A lot have already been written about bad decisions in the past, but lets not dwell on what could or should have been done a long time ago. The acute question is, what now? Most likely, government support will come, so that they can muddle ...
