Both actresses are personal favorites of mine in nearly every thing they do, and the roles are so hugely different! That said, Penelope Cruz kind of blew Amy Adams' performance away. My vote is for Cruz.

Pretty much on the same level as the first one, except a bit overlong and definitely too much style than substance (but that was a problem of the first one as well) Shia LeBeauf was all right, although I slightly prefered him in the first one. Megan Fox was really weak here, I mean she wasnt great in the first one but really, really weak here. John Turturro could be better but he was all right ...
