From MSM's blog: Favorite Movies You've Got Mail An Affair to Remember When Harry Met Sally Serendipity Sleepless in Seattle anything by M. Night Shyamalan I think we've discovered exactly what's wrong with her. (Bless her heart). With a list made up almost entirely of romantic comedies (and seriously, she must have a hard on for Meg Ryan) she ...

So I've been seeing lots of trailers and ads for both Avatar (2009, James Cameron) and Avatar: The Last Airbender (2010, M. Night Shyamalan) recently and, without knowing much of anything about either, I'm wondering if they're both based on the same thing or same story or are completely different and just happen to share a title. Is Avatar: The Last Airbender a sequel to Avatar or something?

Night Shyamalan wanted to try his hand at a more (intentionally) comedic version of what he usually does, a B-movie. I'd almost even call it an art film. Coincidentally, it's the only one of his films I like. (I never saw The Village , but it doesn't interest me.) Will there still be ...

Are you a goddamned retard? Why don't YOU jump off a building? IT IS JUST A MOVIE! Not only that, but it is not a serious movie. It is a dark comedy, a B-movie, a popcorn flick. That's what M. Night Shyamalan was trying to make here. It's just a fun flick with some hilariously bad dialogue and acting, a ridiculous plot, and some decent scares. You're a pussy. The film didn't bother me in the ...
