Just a few (hopefully) not-too-technical thoughts on this subject......Hogan's high finish looks, to me, as a result of not allowing his old destructive hook, it appears that this finish is caused by almost hitting a "blocked" shot, i.e. not allowing the hands to release fully. 2 players that I recall doing this in the 60's and 70's were Miller Barber and Lee Trevino, they both basically ...
