CB: Thanks for writing my headline: "Chamblee: 'I'm a huge ****!' " Let's talk Tiger. This year he had six wins and more than $10 million in earnings but no majors. Was it a great year? An average year? BC: If we judge him by his own enormous standards, it was a good year, not great. Lately, he's been drawing our attention to his overall winning percentage, which is higher than it used to be, ...

According to the article, Hogan twisted the clubhead fully open at the top to prevent it closing too much at impact. That would have worked for Hogan who fought a terrible hook his entire life. It might be just the wrong advice for someone who had an awful slice. I know people have searched for Hogan's "secret" for years just like people look for the Holy Grail. I don't believe it exists. ...

QUOTE (rich13 @ Nov 5 2009, 05:30 AM) Just a few (hopefully) not-too-technical thoughts on this subject......Hogan's high finish looks, to me, as a result of not allowing his old destructive hook, it appears that this finish is caused by almost hitting a "blocked" shot, i.e. not allowing the hands to release fully. 2 players that I recall doing this in the 60's and 70's were Miller ...

That is a great thread, and some of the best comments are by Drifterland. The term "fade" merely means that the ball moves mildly left to right (for a righty). A "power fade" is a fade hit with a slightly open club face and an inside-out swing. It doesn't have anything to do with how hard you hit it. Whether Ben Hogan and Lee Trevino only hit it 250-260 and Jack Nicklaus hit it almost ...

I once made a partner wait almost an hour for sex until Tiger Woods finished up winning a major tournament. But then I spent the next 11 hours devoted to making her squirm, scream, beg, and climax over and over and over. How do I fit into the slot set up by the OP? __________________ "My swing is so bad, I look like a caveman killing ...
