I don't get it either. Bob Rafelson's 5 Easy Pieces (1970) while it has its moments is really an inferior "redo" of Minnelli's Some Came Running (1958). Bob Rafelson and Bert Schneider were producers of the Monkees TV show and movie. Jack Nicholson also got a writing credit on Head . The Monkees also had Jimi Hendrix open for them on tour. (it didn't go over so well, but that wasn't their fault) The Monkees were very hip. I love your tan lines.
