This guy was at the gym squatting 245 on the
smith machine. whats the difference between the smith machine and regular squat with no machine?? I dont get it.

I got a routine for home, but i think it can be transfered over to the gym. I need some help tweaking and
refining it to be more for a gym than for homw. The present routine is: All sets 3x10 (except for cruches which are 4x30) and with 20lb DBs (obviously going to be using barbell stuff as well in the gym) DB Squats DB SLDL DB Bench DB Row DB standing Calf Raise DB ...

I just finished all the paperwork to join a gym, and I need to pay them 100 dollars for a gym membership for a year. problem is, Im leaving the theraputic program Im in on Dec 19, which makes me question of if it is worth it to pay for a years membership for a gym ill only be at for 2.5 months. What do you guys think i should do?

DOMS, of course... majority of people love them in that they believe that it means they are growing. they belive muslce pain means "yay i will get big." but we know that there's a point when you stop feeling pain/soreness. did this ever happen fast with you people? i can push my body pretty far now and feel great the next day. for example Leg day: 4x6 squats 4x6
leg press 2x10 ...

ive been seeing great results from my current workout and actually enjoy goin to the gym more. but my traps are lacking. i do shrugs once or twice a week to try to improve them, but it doesnt seem to be working. im thinking heavy farmer's walks would work. anyone have any suggestions on how to do that in a gym thats a bit crowded and wont allow me to take the dumbbells into the bball gym? ...

I don't want to bore you all with the details. Basically I can not keep my right heel down when I
descend the weight doing ATF squats. Will putting 5 lbs weights under both heels affect anything?
