Hey guys, can anyone tell me if there is an indoor pistol range that rents handguns in northeastern PA say in the area of Scranton? And will they allow out of staters to rent and shoot there?

Today I went out shooting and brought my 10mm 1911 with me. I brought 3 mags that had been loaded a few months ago from last time I went shooting. I do not remember if I loaded them or someone else did. So I am shooting and the gun has a failure to feed. So I rack the slide back, round chambers, and I hear a little pop/poof sound and very little recoil. Casing has to be ...

What do you folks think of a bayonet on a handgun? I like the CZ but have never considered a bayonet useful on a handgun. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=112653 991

Sighting in a couple Marlin 39As and the guy next to me was shooting some really weard handgun that looked like a Frankenstein GlockenColt. I think the guy said it was a Springfield Arms something or other. It had a grip safety and a thumb safety on a polymer frame with a steel slide with a REALLY WEIRD grip angle. It looked like a bastardized Glock. Now mind you, I have a G21 that...

Speer Gold Dot makes some ammo that is designed for short barreled guns like your new 642. It is highly regarded as well as the rounds mentioned by the previoius posters. I would also recommend looking into what is sometimes referred to as the "treasury load" because it was once used by the Treasury Dept. and the FBI. I believe that the make up of that load is: 158GR Semi Wadcutter ...

New XD to me at least. Got it FTF and looking forward to giving it a try. The price was right so if I don't like it too much will be able to trade it in on a G17.

I would be interested in getting a 9mm Kel-tec sub 2000 that takes 9mm Glock mags. I'm only really interested because it folds up and is compact. The gun seems pretty cheap. Would this be a good reliable piece or are they junkers??

I have a strong affinity for the 44 magnum. It does a lot of things well. From ground squirrels to big game, mild to painfully hot handloads, the 44 is rather versatile. I grew up in Elmer Keith Country so I guess I have an excuse. Here is a starter pic. My 629s are not pictured. I also opted to exclude the 44 Special model 24 from this pic, but I believe you get the idea...

I recently got into a discussion about ammo and stopping power (self defense). I say JHP and shoot to KILL. And he said this.... *can't agree with you more here..but truth be known...regular "solid" ammo is ALWAYS BEST..why? Here's the kicker...your "legal" intention is not to kill but to stop...AND you didn't buy this gun for "Defense" (ie: intention to cause harm) but for ...

*gag* Just kidding. I hold two things against the Sigma series 1. They are FUGLY 2. They were dumb and copied Glock's design on internals and got sued. However, that being said, a guy I work with carries an OD green one and he really likes it. Honestly it started growing on me. Would I buy one? No. But for NIB shipped for $300 you can't go wrong!

by a major Handgun manufacturer??? I heard that Beretta recently made a pistol that has a retail price of $360,000 Does anyone know of a handgun recently made that is more expensive than that? That is a lot of money. At least to me. My house only cost me $132,000 .
